Welcome to my little knitting blog where I share knitting projects I’m working on along with some patterns that I’ve developed. Knitting is the craft that I come back to time and again because it’s so versatile. Visualize the different ethnic knitting in Europe, from Aran sweaters of Irish fisherman to stranded Norwegian ski sweaters, textured and twisted Bavarian knitting, and lacework of Russia. There’s so much to explore, discover, and create. No wonder an hour of knitting feels like an excellent therapy session!

Your best bet is to go to your local yarn shop, buy some yarn and ask for help!

Hi Nancy, I am currently working on a pair of socks for hubby,with72 stitches on, but see that you also do a pattern for 80 sts! These would be better for his very large feet, however I do prefer knitting toe up socks do you a pattern for toe up socks? Many thanks

Sorry! I rarely knit toe-up socks. Look on Ravelry for a free 80-stitch pattern!
